Hunan Provincial People’s Government Website Of China Hacked And Databases Are Leaked

Hunan Provincial People’s government website of China was hacked by Anonymous group, a group of loosely organized hacktivists, and leaked the database of the site on PasteBay. This hacking was just a continuation of the series of attacks over Chinese government websites by Anonymous China, a part of Anonymous hactivist group.
Anonymous China already attacked or hacked over 500 Chinese websites, to protest against the Chinese govt regarding their control over the freedom of speech and internet censorship among Chinese people. In fact a lot of Chinese people’s are supporting the @AnonymousChina, a twitter account maintained by Anonymous group that takes over the attacks on Chinese govt websites.
The leaked database contains the Enghunan.gov.cn admin account details including the usernames and passwords. The passwords are stored in encrypted formed, which could still be decrypted with necessary tools and time available.
