As part of the verification process, the General Prosecutor's Office assured INAI that it had already uninstalled the program, which had been active in the Cybernetic Investigations and Technological Operations Unit of the Criminal Investigation Agency, as well as the National Center for Planning, Analysis and Information. for the Fight against Crime.

The Institute itself asked the Prosecutor's Office to formally prove that it no longer has the software and that it needs the method that it carried out for its removal, guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of the information that was collected at the time, from the purchase until the retirement of Pegasus.
